DiscIt

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2, 2026

DiscIt ("the app", "we", "us") is a disc golf collection and practice tracker built and operated by its developer. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.

What information the app collects

DiscIt stores the following information locally on your device:

None of this information is transmitted to our servers. It stays on your device unless you choose to use iCloud Backup (see below).

iCloud Backup (optional)

If you are a DiscIt Pro subscriber and enable iCloud Backup, your app data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is private to you — we have no access to it. Apple's privacy policy governs how iCloud data is stored and protected: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Device permissions

The app requests the following permissions only when needed:

Permission Why it's used
Photo Library Adding photos to disc entries or your profile picture
Camera Taking photos of discs directly within the app
Location Measuring throw distances during practice sessions

Location data is used only in real time to calculate distances. It is not stored, logged, or transmitted.

What we do not do

In-App Purchases

DiscIt Pro is available as an in-app purchase. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's App Store privacy policy applies to all transactions.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat's SDK may collect certain information to verify and process your purchase, such as a device identifier and purchase receipt data. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Data deletion

All data stored by DiscIt lives on your device. To delete it, delete the app. If you have enabled iCloud Backup, you can delete your iCloud data by going to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and removing DiscIt's data.

Children's privacy

DiscIt does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or collect any personally identifying information for the app to function.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app's release notes.
